From the Dealership to Doing Things Differently

Before Meek’s Automotive existed, we spent years on the other side of the service counter at a local Honda dealership on Madison’s east side.

Mikaila “Meek” spent six years as a Honda service advisor, while her husband, Derek, spent 14 years as a Honda technician, becoming both Honda Master Certified and ASE Master Certified along the way.

We learned a lot during those years — about Hondas, obviously, but also about what customers really want from the people taking care of their vehicles.

They want someone they can trust.

They want repairs explained in a way that actually makes sense. They want to know what their vehicle needs now, what can wait, and what they don’t need to spend money on at all. And they want the confidence that comes with dealership-level knowledge without feeling like just another repair order walking through the door.

Eventually, we realized we wanted to create that experience ourselves.

And That’s How Meek’s Was Born

Meek’s Automotive was created to bring the knowledge and experience we gained at Honda into a smaller, locally owned shop where we could do things our way.

No corporate quotas. No unnecessary pressure. No getting lost in the shuffle.

Just honest recommendations, quality repairs, fair pricing, and people who genuinely care about taking care of you and your vehicle.

Today, we’re proud to be local Honda & Acura specialists, giving our customers an alternative to the dealership when they want someone who truly knows their vehicle.

And while Honda may be our specialty, our doors are open to most makes and models. The same honesty, attention to detail, and quality of service goes into every vehicle that enters our shop.
